An open letter to my daughter on her 7th birthday. l Life with ZG l Mommy Blogger PH l Solo Moms PH l Diary of a single mom
An open letter to my daughter on her 7th birthday. You love writing letters but now it's mommy's turn to give a smile on your face as you read this letter.
To my Zoe,
Seven years ago, you came unexpectedly.
My life changed 360 degrees, but I wouldn't trade it for anything.
Because since the moment I first saw you, I became whole.
Thank you for completing mommy.
Seven beautiful years with you.
Seven years of solo parenthood.
Seven years of exclusively breastfeeding.
Seven years of cosleeping.
Seven years of waking up to your morning snuggles and kisses.
Seven years of having you as my little best friend.
No fancy birthday party for your 7th, unlike your 1st birthday. Instead, we celebrated your birthday by traveling to enjoy the beach and went to an amusement park to celebrate. Building core memories matters, especially now that we're still in a pandemic.
I see a lot of me in you, but you are a lot better.
You are the sweetest, loving, and caring little person I know.
You are so intelligent, talented, gifted, creative, passionate, and patient.
You are a beauty inside and outside.
You can do anything and everything!
Most importantly, know that you are loved by so many!
Mom will always be here to support and cheer for you.
Thank you for being you, I couldn’t ask for more in a daughter.
As much as I hope time could slow down, I'm excited and looking forward to everything that you’ll learn and experience this year. Know that the universe belongs to you, and you shall have it. Continue to shine bright and bloom into the best version of yourself every year. I wish and pray that God will continue to guide us in this journey. May all your wishes and dreams come through.
Seven years have passed by so quickly, and I am sure it has been the best seven years! I will always be thankful that you came into my life. Thank you for choosing me to be your, mom. And to that someone, thank you for giving me a beautiful daughter to share this journey with. No worries, we're genuinely happy that it's just the two of us since day 0.
Happiest birthday, my little one!
You will always be mom's baby no matter how old you are.
I love you so much, and I hope you know that!
Let's continue to teach and learn from each other as we navigate this journey.
To more balloons we'll pop, candles to blow. cake to bake, albums and merch to buy, fangirling over BTS and beaches to see and explore!
Love,
Mom
