Yoki's Farm in Mendez Cavite Experience November 2021 l Life with ZG l Mommy Blogger PH

Last Friday, November 05, 2021, we went to Yoki's Farm. We were supposed to go to Gingerbread House that day. But since we're already in Mendez after visiting the cemetery, we decided to go to Yoki's farm instead to avoid Tagaytay traffic as well.

It was Zoe's first time going outside. She was so excited and happy to see other kids and to explore Yoki's farm. It was raining when we entered Yoki's farm. If you're planning to visit, always make sure to bring an umbrella, hat, and extra shirts. Also, wear comfortable shoes. Check out my Facebook page for more photos.

Our guide Kuya nick ( if I'm not mistaken) was very friendly and takes good photos. We arrived around 1:30 pm and, the parking was almost full but, we encountered only a few batches. If there are queues in one attraction, we'll go to another attraction first then just come back. That's why we got to take off our masks for picture purposes only.

For the animal encounter, We first went to see the tortoise. Zoe enjoyed feeding them and observing them one by one. Kuya Nick gave pieces of information and fun facts as we go along.

The next stop is the Safari, we went to see and feed the Zebra, it was Zoe's first time to see Zebras up close. Unlike when we went to Baluarte when she was only 3. She was hesitant to feed the Zebra so I was the one holding the bucket while Kuya took photos of us. Then to the miniature horses, we only took photos near them as they are kinda moody as per Kuya. We were able to hold and touch an ostrich and her egg. One egg costs around 2,000 if I'm not mistaken. Oh, and there is also a barn.

After that, we went to see the reptiles. Okay, I was not happy to enter the darkroom but Zoe was so interested in looking at all the reptiles. There are also a few snakes inside.

The next stop is the Aviary, we had to wait for a while here as there are 3 groups before us. It was also raining while we were waiting. Zoe was so brave that upon entering Kuya (the one assisting the birds) puts a Cockatoo on Zoe's shoulder. haha The Aviary was Zoe's favorite stop. Then the black big bird and a yellow bird. It was raining hard when we went to the Aviary so we weren't able to enjoy our stay here. There is also a peacock and peahen roaming, ducks, owl, and eagles.

For the last stop, Zoe was able to feed some rabbits. There's nothing much to see her but she enjoyed patting and feeding the rabbits.

The tour lasted for 1 and half hours. There is a canteen inside where you can buy snacks or eat your takeouts. There is also a playground where kids can play after the tour but since it's raining when we went there, Zoe wasn't able to play in that area. There is also a hydroponics farm tour and you can also buy some fresh produce inside.

Of course, we can't go home without checking out the toy stall. There's a stall for pasalubongs too. The kids are so happy checking out the toys. Heads up, the toys are pricey than usual. Zoe got a waterful ring toy for 100 pesos. haha

If you guys are hungry, just in front of Yoki's farm there is a restaurant named Alfredo's. We just had our lunch so I wasn't able to check it out. Just message them on Facebook

Overall, Zoe was so happy to be able to go out for the first time after 2 years. The price for the animal encounter was also sulit for me. Even though it's Friday the farm was not too crowded but I still advise going on weekdays. They also accept walk-ins.

Stay healthy and always be mindful of the healthy protocols when going outside. I hope to see you in my next post.
