BTS Meal is finally here in the Philippines. The long wait is over. l Quick food review and experience. l Life with ZG l Lifestyle Blog
Okay, this is something new from my usual homeschooling blog. But let me just make a quick food review today.
Since BTS launched the BTS MEAL in South Korea. Filo-Armys like us started to look forward to the launch here in the Philippines. And because we wanted to try it first before the official release. I got the chance to reserve a coupon for the pre-release of the BTS Meal. Yay!
So last June 17, 2021, after I had the first dose of my Covid19 vaccine. I just had to redeem our first BTS MEAL. My daughter Zoe was counting down the days for the pre-release and she's so excited to get the BTS MEAL.
Okay, enough of the kwento. I got it around 5:30ish in the afternoon and there's no line in the store but the Drive-thru was jampacked. I ordered the BTS MEAL for 260 pesos and our favorite Oreo Mcflurry and some additional orders. The cashier was so kind enough to put the meals in a different paper bag and just handed me the BTS paper bag separately. The store was decorated with purple balloons too. 💜
The meal consists of 10 pcs McNuggets with Cajun and Sweet Chili dipping sauces, Medium Fries, Medium coke, and the customized paper bag.
Verdict
Price Range
For me, the price range is fair enough and less cheap compare to ala carte. To think they used the BTS logo. I know there's a lot of hate when this collaboration launched here in the Philippines. Well, nothing new. Talk about Pinoy Toxic mind. I'm okay with the price range. Especially because official merch is pricey and not a lot of people can afford it. So it's okay to preserve the packaging because some may even consider this a "merch" that they can only afford. So it's sulit for me for 260 pesos.
Sauces
For the McNuggets sauce, are you Team Cajun or Team Sweet Chili or maybe Team Mix?
I love mixing the two sauces but I prefer to dip my fries in Cajun and to dip my McNuggets in Sweet Chili sauce because I love the kick! A must-try. Sadly, it's only available for a limited time. So grab it, while it lasts. Oh, only if you're an army.
Ordering Via Foodpanda
Guess, I'll try to check another branch here in our area for our fourth BTS Meal. Because yesterday was my daughter's graduation and since it's just the two of us. I opted to order via Foodpanda. Ordered 2 sets of BTS meal but I didn't get any BTS paper bag. Good thing I got one from the pre-release. Also, the Cajun sauce that I got leaked. I asked Kuya Rider but he didn't get any from the store. Maybe because they're so busy with all the delivery. But still, if you only got one chance to buy the BTS Meal, I guess it's better to visit the store if you wanted to have the complete set of packaging and to take some photos inside the store, Oh, but please if you will go to the store please follow the safety protocols and be kind to the crew.
And to all the haters/bashers, let me just get this out. I've been seeing so much hate in social media. I just don't get all the hate. No one is forcing you to buy the BTS Meal. It's made for ARMY. So why do you still make the effort to buy the BTS Meal then crumpled or throw away the packaging to make a content? For the clout? To seek attention? Well, get a life. We, Armys been through a lot with BTS and we ain't stooping down on your level.
To my fellow Filo-Armys, don't mind them. Let's spread kindness and let's continue to protect the boys. Enjoy your BTS Meal and don't forget to share it with your family and friends! Also, don't forget to keep on streaming Butter! Can't wait for our birthday and the release of the new song! 💛
