5 Last day of Homeschool Traditions l Life with ZG

Hello, it's been a while since my last homeschool update and this will be my last update for this school year since we're officially done with Kinder 2.

Last Saturday, Zoe took her last 10 exams for the 4th quarter in one sitting so we can officially bid goodbye to Kinder2. I also submitted her grading sheet already and now we're just waiting for her final report card and moving up details.

Before the school year start, I created a blog about some traditions that you can start on your first day of homeschooling. Today, let me share 5 traditions that you can do on your last day of homeschool.

End of Homeschool Traditions

1. Take your last day of school photos.

Hooray for making it until the end! Pat yourself on the back mama for doing a great job as well as your child/ren. Now that it's the end of another school year. Take some last day of school photos as a souvenir. You can also compare their first and last day of school photos. Time flies, right? They grow up too fast!

2. Create a memory book.

Making a memory book is a fun project to do with your child together. Print out some photos, use some artworks and other memorabilia, to sum up, your school year.

3. Have a party.

Since there is still a pandemic and we can't still go out. Let's bring the fun indoors. It's time to fill up your pools and let's officially welcome the summer. You can also make some refreshments together to enjoy. Oh, a water balloon fight sounds so fun, too!

4. Evaluate your school year.

It's time to evaluate if you reached the goals that you wrote for this school year. Discuss what's their favorite subject for this school year, what are their favorite learnings, and evaluate your child's strengths and weaknesses too.

5. Reward your child.

This is our first year of officially homeschooling under a provider and as a way of me recognizing Zoe's effort throughout this school year, I got her kid-friendly makeup and nail polishes as a gift.

Life is tough right now so giving a little reward for your child for finishing the school year despite everything that happening will make them look forward to another school year.
